Spring Fling

Recently, my artwork has been accepted by Amy at Mind Your Manor, a store in downtown Littleton. Many of the pieces I submitted to Amy were sold at the Spring Fling in Denver. My friend Anita and I went to the show and it was great seeing my artwork and visiting fellow artist that share my mixed media art passion. The vintage items were great. I was happy to sell some of my items at the show.

A note to say hello.

This is what I have up to.
I submitted two pieces to the Core's show "anything goes". The art work at the opening was great. There was a great variety of projects.


I have a great job teaching art at Mark Twain Elementary. The art room is great, the students are talented and the teaching is going great.

Welcome!

This last summer was the summer for art shows. It started with the Art Student League Show in June. This was a fantastic show and I enjoyed the venue and the customers and other artists. I hope to participate in the ASL show again next year.

In August, I submitted three assemblages into the Core Art Gallery Assemblage Show. All three of my pieces got in. At the opening of the show, I met another assemblage artist my husband works with. The artist's name is Ginger and she gave me pointers and tips on creating assemblages and where to get good sources (www. clothpaperscissors.com).
